In Short: This collection of stories from twenty-two diverse authors shows the anger of an abused planet where the choice to either fight back or embrace a changed future.

What's It About: The time has come for a reckoning: nature has suffered for too long at human hands. How will Mother Earth take her revenge? In this anthology of climate fiction and eco-horror edited by Lauren T. Davila, authors approach the ideas of a natural world seeking revenge from diverse perspectives. Some of these stories are set in a contemporary setting with supernatural results, while many others are post-apocalyptic, set in dying worlds—or lush environments where civilization is nearly dead. Tales of space exploration and planet salvation mesh with stories of stories where the humans left behind must change to nature’s whims in order to survive and thrive. With tales from writers both well known and up and coming, the collection features work by Amparo Ortiz, Wen-yee Li, Sam Elyse, Onyx Osiris, and many more.
